NetGalley Review

Half A Year Wrap Up

As of June first I was at 65 Books for the year, here is my half year review!

A-Z Challenge

My other reading challenge I’m participating in this year is A-Z

52 Books 52 Weeks

One of the main reading challenges I decided to do this year is 52 Books in 52 Weeks.

Let’s Try this Again

So as you can see it’s been awhile since I’ve fired this thing up. This year my main goal was to scroll less and read more. My goal was 100 books which I honestly thought was crazy but here I am at the beginning of Sept hitting that goal & still going strong. I’m going to add reviews here as well at my Bookstagram (best.little.bookstop). I will start by adding the challenges I’m participating in, as well as some of my favorite books from this year, & reviews for ArCs I’ve been lucky enough to get.

Best of Me Nicholas Sparks

#3 *A Book that Became a Movie* Started Jan 19 Finished Feb 1

Goodreads Synopsis:

THE BEST OF ME is the heart-rending story of two small-town former high school sweethearts from opposite sides of the tracks. Now middle-aged, they've taken wildly divergent paths, but neither has lived the life they imagined . . . and neither can forget the passionate first love that forever altered their world. When they are both called back to their hometown for the funeral of the mentor who once gave them shelter, they will be forced to confront the choices each has made, and ask whether love can truly rewrite the past.

My Review:

I love Nicholas Sparks books & this one was no exception it was awesome! I watched the movie afterwards & as usual it didn't disappoint either. Definitely recommendable....

My Sisters Grave Robert Dugoni

# 10 *Mystery or Thriller*  Started Jan 12 Finished Jan 18.......

Goodreads Synopsis:

Tracy Crosswhite has spent twenty years questioning the facts surrounding her sister Sarah’s disappearance and the murder trial that followed. She doesn’t believe that Edmund House — a convicted rapist and the man condemned for Sarah’s murder — is the guilty party. Motivated by the opportunity to obtain real justice, Tracy became a homicide detective with the Seattle PD and dedicated her life to tracking down killers.

When Sarah’s remains are finally discovered near their hometown in the northern Cascade mountains of Washington State, Tracy is determined to get the answers she’s been seeking. As she searches for the real killer, she unearths dark, long-kept secrets that will forever change her relationship to her past — and open the door to deadly danger.

My Review:
I loved this book, it was page turning always had me guessing. To me it got a little slow in the middle but it was worth it at the end. Totally unexpected is all I can say without giving way to much. Definitely recommendable...
